My name is Shanna. I am from Eastern Canada, where we speak English as well as French.
Graduated from East-Asian studies, I had to take language courses, including Japanese. Speaking only English and French, I had to learn and adapt the way I learn a language. I think that these years in University made me realize the importance of language classes that mainly focus on conversation. I am grateful for what I learned when I was a student and I hope my experience with foreign language learning benefits me as a teacher.
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes! That’s how we really learn a new language.
